Frequently asked questions in physical retail

Does it work with any POS?

Any one with an API or a connector via Redsys: Verial, Glop, Camarero10, Square, SumUp, Hiopos, Tilby, Verifone. If your POS has no modern API but we can access its local database, we integrate it too with a bridge.

How long does it take for a chain of several outlets?

A single outlet with POS plus ecommerce: 10-15 days. A chain of 3-5 outlets with the same configuration: an extra 5-8 days for the consolidation. A chain of 10+: 20-30 days with onboarding in blocks.

Is it Verifactu compliant with a POS?

Yes. Each POS ticket becomes a simplified invoice in Holded valid for Verifactu (correct hash chain from the moment of issue). For tickets over 3,000 EUR (B2B with a tax ID), a full invoice. We verify it on each POS before go-live.

What about the marketplaces (Amazon, eBay)?

Amazon FBA / FBM with a specific connector (see /en/integrations/holded-amazon). Each marketplace order to a Holded invoice with the correct client, VAT and payment method. The marketplace commission is posted as a separate commercial expense.

Stock in real time between store and ecommerce?

Yes. A sale in the POS to a Holded adjustment in seconds to propagation to Shopify/WooCommerce in under 1 minute. Conflict resolution by timestamp if both systems modify the same SKU simultaneously.

What if I only have a physical store with no ecommerce?

It works just as well. The POS plus Holded connector on its own gives you an automatic close, B2B invoicing with the correct tax ID, and consolidated reporting if you have several outlets. The ecommerce module is added when you need it.
