The problem

Companies with DocuSign typically use it separately from Holded: the sales rep sends the Holded quote by email, then goes into DocuSign, replicates the data in a template, and sends it to sign. The client signs, the rep downloads it, goes back to Holded, marks it as won by hand and files the PDF somewhere. 10-15 minutes per quote in steps that can be robotised.

The solution

DocuSign is the global standard for electronic signature. Integrating it with Holded automates the quote to signature to activation cycle. Every Holded quote can be sent to sign directly through DocuSign with prefilled fields. When the client signs, the quote is marked as won in Holded automatically and the signed contract is archived.

Architecture

How we build it

DocuSign eSignature REST API (OAuth). Holded API v2. A reusable DocuSign template with fields mapped from the Holded quotes. DocuSign webhooks (envelope.completed) to detect the signature. The signed PDF is downloaded via the API and linked to the Holded quote.

Frequently asked questions

Which DocuSign plan do I need?

Standard plan or higher (it includes API access). If your team is 1-5 people, Personal Pro works; over 5 people, Business Pro is better for centralised template management.

Does it support signing with a digital certificate (qualified signature)?

Yes. DocuSign has eIDAS qualified signature as an add-on. Useful for formal contracts that require a qualified signature (legal services, public sector). We integrate it at no extra cost.

What about multiple signatures (several signers)?

Yes. We define the envelope with several signers and an order. When everyone signs, the quote is closed. If one declines, the rep is notified.

Why DocuSign vs Signaturit?

DocuSign has a stronger international brand and a more mature API. Signaturit is Spanish, a better fit for AEAT regulation and Spanish-language support. If your client is international, DocuSign. If the whole business is Spain-based and your accounting firm knows it, Signaturit.
